As the 23-24 school year begins to come to a close and summer 23 is about to set in CPS has many things to be thankful for. The district offers a high-quality education, community events, and extracurricular activities for a variety of interests. The single most important contributor to CPS is the highly dedicated staff, both certified and support. It takes everyone! It does not matter what job title an individual holds in the district - they are all educators.
Working at school is a tough job! The dedication, love, and sacrifice it takes to be a teacher, school counselor, tutor, coach, school secretary, school nurse, custodian, bus driver, or food service staff is life-changing for our students every day.
