CMS seventh grade winners for the VFW Essay Contest are: 1st Cassie Richardson, 2nd Ryan Davis ( he won second in the district contest as well) and 3rd, Addalynn Miglietti. The title of the essay was HOW TO BE A GOOD AMERICAN. We are really proud of them.
At this time seventh graders are learning Argumentative Essays. They are getting the hang of expressing their side of an issue without being disagreeable with those that do not share their opinion. A valuable lesson.
