Annetta Garlinger’s students are using their flexible seating the class received from their Donors Choose grant. “The students absolutely love it. They love being able to sit somewhere else and in something else other than their regular seats all day long. If they are comfortable and get to change things up, then I feel they learn better and will be more engaged,” she said.
Mrs. Garlinger has charts at the front of the classroom that divides the students into groups. Underneath each group has which seating option they have for that week. If students choose not to sit in their flexible seating for that week then they don't have to. She changes and alternates seating each Monday.
