The news of the passing of first grader Athena Strand leaves an overwhelming sadness for our Comanche school community. She had been a student here at Comanche for the past three years and was coming back to Comanche in January. For those wanting to help the family an account has been set up at First National Bank in Comanche. The account name is Maitlyn Gandy special account or Athena Strand donation account. The family and community will mourn together the loss of this beautiful little girl.
