In an effort to keep the community informed, earlier today our administration was made aware of threats to other local area schools. The threat to Waurika was deemed nonviable. Comanche Public Schools have not received any threats. The district has been in contact with our local law enforcement agency. There is no imminent threat to our campus, students, or staff. Our school will remain open with additional safety precautions in place. Student and staff safety is our utmost priority.

Parents, Today all students will be bringing home paper AUP(Acceptable Use Policy) & Technology Handbooks. We will need the back page of each document signed and returned to school by Friday. Aug 30th. We have made several attempts to get the online version to work in order to save work load on our offices and paper; but unfortunately because of time and the need to pass out technology devices we feel paper forms are our best option for now. We will begin deploying the technology devices on Tuesday,Sept 3rd. We apologize for any inconvenience this has put on our parents and families. We thank you for your patience and willingness to help us get what we need. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the Technology department at the school.

This meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at 12:20 PM in the boardroom located in the administration building. The district would like to invite parents of eligible students to attend.
