Let’s give an Indian welcome to Mrs. Combs, our new Pre-K teacher. Mrs. Jennifer Combs said," I am thrilled to be teaching Pre-K at Comanche Public Schools!" She completed her student teaching practicum at Comanche and have taught both Pre-K and Kindergarten for the district as well. Teaching Littles is her passion and she could not be more excited to be back ‘home' doing what she loves! She said,"I am looking forward to a great year!" Jennifer grew up nearby, in the small town of Central High, in a home of educators. Her dad was an administrator and her mom was a Kindergarten teacher. From a young age, she learned firsthand the impact educators have on the lives of their students. She said, " It is definitely something special, a privilege and responsibility that should not be taken lightly." After graduating from high school, she furthered her education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. There she graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after graduation, she obtained my Early Childhood Certification. Jennifer is happily married to her husband, Chad (a Comanche alumni), for 21 years. They have been blessed with two amazing kids, Brooke and Dylan. Although teaching is her passion, being a wife and mom are her greatest joys. She stated," You will likely see us supporting the Indians at various activities throughout the year... GO COMANCHE!" 🤍❤️📣 Look at these girls go 📣❤️🤍 CMS Cheer attended J & C Cheer Camp in Norman this weekend. The girls worked hard as a team and earned some team awards along with individual awards! 10 girls from our squad tried out for All Star Team and made it! We also had some cheerleaders place and win awards in the Top Gun Competitions which included skills in tumbling, jumps, and motion . We look forward to the up coming cheer season! Go Indians! Way to go girls! We are so proud of you!!

Another early morning for these guys! They attended Big 3 Field days in Stillwater for the Beef Cattle Judging Contest. They competed with over 1,000 4-H and FFA members across the state. Our Senior FFA team had a great day and competed against 600+ Senior FFA members. As a team they placed 73 out of 205 teams. Individual score: Ema Parks scored 296 points and tied for 296th place. Raylen Parks scored 243 points and tied for 501th place. Ty Martin scored 305 points and tied for 245th place. High scorer on the team today! Koble Lewis scored 296 points and tied for 296th place. Our lone 4-H member, Kinsley Morgan, competed as an individual in the Junior 4-H division with over 300 others. She scored 213 points and placed 290th.

Our Drumline attended TMALA.We had 3 students receive awards. Rhett winton got the most improved Drumline member in the top Drumline. Bristol Hurst got the most improved Drumline member in the Third Drumline. Holden Vess got the most improved Drumline member in the 2nd drumline.
